I’ve always been interested in why people do what they do more than what they say.

That curiosity led to me to earn a degree in psychology and spend years studying human behavior before and eventually writing a novel. My debut, explores power, perception and institutional corruption through the lens of a psychological thriller.

I’m fascinated by the way in which ordinary people realize the story they’ve been told - or tell themselves - no longer explains the world they’re living in. It’s in that collision that my stories begin.

My novels - yes, more are on the way - explore political systems, institutional narratives, loyalty, identity, and the choices people make when everything they believed is questioned.

When I’m not writing I’m usually reading, tending to my ever growing collection of plants, overanalyzing fictional characters, or fueling another research rabbit hole with a Starbucks run.
